This policy covers Hunk Haven and hunkhaven.com, developed under the name Springtide Games. Hunk Haven and this website are operated by an individual developer using Springtide Games as a brand name. 1. Local game information
The game stores settings, your display name, conversations, memories, diary information and game records in its local application data folder to provide gameplay and continuity. The inspected implementation has no developer-hosted conversation storage service. Local storage does not prevent transfers through connected AI services, backups, sync tools or files you voluntarily share. People with access to your device or backups may be able to read local records.
2. Optional AI and voice services
Connecting AI sends requests directly to your configured endpoint. Requests may include messages, display name, relevant conversation history, memories, character instructions and context for replies or diary entries. Your API key is sent for authentication. Speech recognition may send microphone audio to your configured recognition service; generated speech sends the text to be spoken to your speech service. Local endpoints may process on your device; remote endpoints process elsewhere.
Your chosen providers control their own retention, training, security, processing locations and fees. Review their policies before connecting. Disable the relevant services to stop future requests. We cannot delete copies held by those providers. Do not put passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in chat.
3. API keys
Keys are saved in local settings. The application uses operating-system-backed Electron secure storage when available. If unavailable, the inspected implementation uses Base64 encoding, which is not encryption. We do not promise encrypted key storage on every installation. Protect your device and do not share settings files containing credentials. Remove keys in settings and revoke them with the provider when appropriate.
4. Website visits
This website has no accounts, contact forms, advertising pixels, analytics scripts or embedded third-party media. Fonts and images are served locally. Language selection uses a URL parameter, without cookies or browser local storage. Railway hosts the website. Cloudflare may provide DNS and, if enabled, proxy and security services.
Infrastructure may process IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser information and response status to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. Production settings and applicable retention periods must be confirmed before publication.
5. Support emails
If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments to respond and investigate your request. Our email provider processes those communications. Do not send API keys; redact sensitive information from logs and chat records. We retain support information only for the time needed for the request and applicable obligations. 6. Sharing and platforms
We do not sell personal information or use game conversations for advertising. Website and email providers process the information described above. Information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security. Steam purchases, payment and account information are handled by Valve under its own policy; this website does not collect payment details. Providers may process information in other countries; final processing arrangements will be confirmed before publication.
7. Deletion and rights
Local records remain until you delete them. Uninstalling may leave the application data folder behind. Close the game and remove its data folder and backups to delete local records; ask support for the correct path for your version. This does not delete copies held by third-party providers.
Where applicable law provides access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal rights, contact us about information we hold. You may complain to your relevant data protection authority. We cannot access or erase records that exist only on your device. The applicable lawful grounds must be confirmed before publication. 8. Children
The game is intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Platform and AI provider age requirements also apply.
